The stay at Regebogenland

Families with terminally ill children and adolescents have a right to hospice care, not only in the last phase of life, but during the entire phase of the disease. Parents and siblings are accompanied on this difficult journey and the ill children, adolescents and young adults are taken into palliative care. The admission at Regenbogenland is possible for children, adolescents and young adults from birth to the age of 27 years; starting from the diagnosis of the terminal illness.

Care at Regenbogenland

In Regenbogenland, only highly qualified specialist nurses take over the care and supervision of children and adolescents. The high quality of care is ensured through continuous training of the team in areas such as palliative care, home respiration or basal stimulation.

Special therapies

A crucial part of our work at Regenbogenland are the following therapies: music-, art-, clown-, singing bowl-, aroma- and animal-assisted therapy.

Company

We accompany ill children and adolescents not only in the last phase of their lives. In fact, our holistic approach particularly aims to help families during the whole time of the illness.

Our premises

We would like to offer families with terminally children and adolescents an environment based on the concept of children’s hospice work.

Our house has ten single rooms. The beautifully designed rooms for children and adolescents are located on the ground floor, are disabled friendly and offer a calming view over the garden, home to several old trees. The rooms are equipped with care beds, pagers, oxygen, TV and a lift system. They offer space for the individual needs of our guests.
